This armorer's kit includes our P365 armorer's tool and armorer's plate. The P365 armorer's tool was designed for quicker installation of our trigger kit and can be used for almost every P365 takedown and assembly action including more difficult actions like sear spring leg seating, slide cap removal, and safety lever alignment with the safety lever pin. The armorer's plate can be used to check sear engagement levels and striker safety margin/function during install and maintenance without need to move the striker sleeve tab into the center of the striker channel for easy install.
The armorer's tool provides easiest possible sear spring leg seating if safety lever pin is pulled out all the way or when changing sear springs. If the sear spring leg is visible in the safety lever pin hole, first try to insert the tool in place of the safety lever pin with "P365" logo towards top of FCU then rotate clockwise 180 degrees. If this method did not seat the sear spring leg back up onto the ledge inside the FCU, then the tool can be used from the opposite side through hole after the trigger bar is moved and disconnector is removed. The tool can be inserted again with logo towards top of FCU until it contacts the sear spring leg. Rotate counterclockwise 180 degrees, then use the safety lever pin to push the tool back out. This will keep the sear spring leg above the safety lever pin if it won't hold on the ledge inside the FCU by itself.
